The initiative has made it possible thanks to the partnership between Spar, Binance Pay and DFX, the Swiss Fintech acting as a conversion intermediary that allows you to reward Fiat stores. It is planned that 300 SPAR stores in Switzerland are accepted all crypts in a few months, but no specific calendar has been defined yet.

According to the DFX card, some Spar is already preparing for the offer of this type of payment very soon, while others are only in the preliminary phase.

This initiative follows the pilot running in Spar in Zug last April, allowing Bitcoins to pay through Lightning Network.
